Grandma Lorie celebrated her 60th birthday this spring. Kelsie planned a surprise party for her, at one of Grandma's favorite places. The kids all had a grand time playing 'look out' for Grandma and Grandpa.
When they finally came, all the kids ran over to hold up the banner as they pulled up. It was really great, Grandma was very much indeed surprised. :)
Then all the kids decided to 'attack' grandpa, with snowballs and balloons,
which Zack really really enjoyed.
We headed down the mountain to find a little warmer weather to have our picnic.

It turned out to be a really great day, despite some set backs, Thanks Kelsie for all your hard work, so we could celebrate the amazing grandma/mother we all have. :)
