A Baby Shower For Baby Zack and Me

My sweet Beehives wanted to plan and give me a baby shower and on March 31st they did, it was the first time the Beehives were in charge of Mutual since I had him. It turned out so wonderful, what a great bunch of Young Women I get to to work with. We had a relay race which included things that mothers have to do everyday. They had a "Guess Who" game with baby pictures of everyone, and we had a "Guess what baby food" game. The girls were in charge of almost the whole thing, including the decorations and some of the refreshments. They blew me away with all they did. They are awesome. Thank you girls! We (well me more than Zack) had a great time.
Some of my Beehive's, and one stray Laurel, :)
For the relay they had to undress the baby, change the diaper, put the clothes back on, fold a pile of blankets and sheets and pick up a pile of toys, all while holding the baby, some of them found some pretty creative ways to hold their baby, but I might have to think twice before I let them Babysit, :)

For the baby food game they could smell and for a brave few even taste to try and figure out what flavor it was
The baby picture game, can you see my picture? It's number 12
At the end we had a guest speaker come( a mother of triplets) and talk to the girls about the importance of having an eternal marriage before they have kids and the beehive leader gave them each a letter from their "future children" about how they are praying and cheering them on in heaven and how the choices they make now, will influence both of their lives in the future. She also gave them all a baby bib she knited all by herself , I cant imagine the time that took her to do all of them. It was wonderful. For refreashments we had baby (mini) chicken salad rolls, baby (mini) cupcakes, and baby carrots, and juice of course. It was a very special night, my Beehives rock and all the Young Women had a fun time.
Zack spent most of the night in his stroller, or in my arms, he was very, very sleepy!

I am over the beehives too! How nice of them to plan that for you. Very creative games!
