Friday evening we decided to take the kids to Salem Pond, I had been there earlier in the week with the young women, and thought the girls would love it. We took the fishing poles and packed a dinner and off we went. The girls were so excited, and little Zack is always happy to be out side.
The girls were all for fishing, until they remembered that fishing comes with a whole lot of patience, and Audrey droped out rather quickly.
As long as he is out side and has his feet or fingers Zack is one happy fellow
He loved watching the ripples in the water
Audrey wasn't so happy about the menu, BBQ beef sandwiches, so she got a little grumpy
Feeding the ducks
His smile makes my day!
Adam got a little bored, we had only caught one little fish, so he decided to entertain himself by trying to catch a huge carp swimming around the bank, which he did in no time, and IT..... WAS..... HUGE!!
Then he realized what he got on the line, he was going to have to get off. He asked if I would do it, like I didn't value my fingers as much as he did his. But it was so big, it broke the line anyways.
It was a great night, we donated our little fish to a little old fisherman nearby, and headed home, but not before playing on the playground.
