Pull It!

One of our favorite shows to watch as a family is AFV, (America's Funniest Videos). Our DVR records it every Sunday, and later that night, we usually pile in my bed in our PJ's and a couple bowls of popcorn and watch it before bed.
So when Audrey got a loose tooth a few weeks ago, and it got to be so wiggly that it was bothering her, she said she wanted to get the video camera out and pull it out like they do on AFV, so we could send it in and she could be on TV. So we got out the camera, and the string, and tryed and tryed, but the tooth was so little the string just kept falling off. Audrey got so disappointed, she started to cry. She even told us to get out daddies tool (pliers) and pull it out. But her tooth was to slippery for that too. We tried to talk Whitney into letting us pull some of her loose teeth, 3 to be exact, but she wouldn't have anything to do with that. Whitney's really needed to come out though, her other teeth had already started to come in, so we told her we were going to do it, and then she started to cry too. So we had both girls crying, one because we couldn't pull her teeth out, and the other one because we were going to try. Well we ended up not getting any out that night, much to the relief of one and the disappointment of the other. :)
But the next night Audrey came in and said try again, and just use your fingers to push it out, so I did, not thinking I was really going to get it out, but it popped right out, and went into Audrey's mouth, and she was afraid she was going to swallow it, so I told her to spit it out, not thinking, and I should NOT have used those exact words, because she literally SPIT out every thing in her mouth, ON ME!!! Yes, sorry to be gross, but that included all the blood too, it was terrific!! (sarcasm) She ran into the bathroom, came back with a mouth full of tissue, and a HUGE smile on her face. She said it didn't even hurt, and she was oh so happy it worked, tough, silly little girl. If only she could give some of her bravery to her sis, who eventually did get her teeth out, but that's a LONG story, for another post, so more to come on that later. But doesn't Audrey look so cute with all her missing teeth? The one next to it just started to get loose,  so I'm sure it wont be long until we do this again, but next time I will be a little bit more prepared, and will definitely not use the word 'spit' again, :).
