Once we left Grandpa Kazes we went to Grandma and Grandpa Peterson's. When we got there we ate a yummy dinner, and then all the kiddos gathered around to hear the rules for the egg hunt. All the kiddos were so excited, especially Whitney. We had to try and calm her down a little bit.
All the kiddos were lining up on the stairs waiting there turn, but Zack didn't quite understand that he was supposed to stay there.

Zack did so well until....
He went around the deck and saw a car,
and decided he needed to have it to find eggs, so while all the other kiddos got loose and started finding eggs, Zack was busy getting a toy car to ride.
Of course the only eggs he was interested in by then were the ones he could pick up while still sitting on his car... :)
When all the kids got there eggs we sat down to threw all of them with grandma, some had special papers inside for prizes, and some had money in it too!
Zack finally realized he might be missing out on something and headed over.

He got a Little People bull-dozer with a little guy and a huge Easter Egg to push around, which he LOVED and had to start playing with it immediately.

A panda bear, but later exchanged it for the book, The Velveteen Rabbit.
Zack stole some eggs from around him and continued playing with his bull-dozer.

One of the prizes Grandma got for everyone was a book, Zack got two, one about bees and one about a little blue truck.
He stopped his playing with his toy for a minute to check them out.
Whitney got some Fablehaven books.
Audrey got the first and second books in the Desserts series.
After the egg hunt got over, we had yummy Strawberry short cake and/or cheesecake. It was a really long day, but the kiddos had a fantastic day, which is what counts right?
