Zoe

So for some time now, I have wanted to get Adam a dog, even more now that Buddy is gone. Adam has always said he has wanted a Aussie, or some kind of herding dog. While I was at Bunco one night, at my friend Mindi's house, she had to take us out to show us her new puppies. She raises Mini-Aussie's. I immediately fell in love with a teeny tiny female, they named Zinnia. When I got home I told Adam all about her, but didn't have much hope, since our budget really wouldn't allow a large purchase like that. But still couldn't forget about her. Zinnia was in one of two litters that were born pretty close together, and even though a lot of people were interested in her, she still hadn't sold, three months later. So my wonderful friend called me up and we made a deal. So one night we told the girls we were going for a little drive up the road, but didn't even give a hint as to what we were up to. We went and picked her up, and when we walked in with her, Whitney came up, and was rather speechless, and shocked, but was instantly in love. Audrey was in the shower, and Whitney ran in to show her, Audrey was pretty shocked too, she hurried and got out of the shower, and we really didn't see any of them for a while. They took her into their room, to show her around, and didn't put her down for about three days. We all fell in love with sweet little Zinnia. Whitney and Zoe have completely bonded together, she will sit in Whitney's arms for hours on end, and gets so excited every time she sees her. Adam quickly changed her name to Zoe, said he wouldn't ever be able to remember the name Zinnia She is turning out to be a lot smaller that we thought, which I prefer, but not quite the size Adam would have wanted, or the dog I had in mind for him. But he is kind of too busy at the moment for a dog of his own anyway. She is super smart, listens really well, and is tender and sweet with the kiddos. She loves herding our chickens already, and it is so funny to watch, mostly because of her size, the chickens are quite bigger than her, and the rooster could probably swallow her whole if he wanted, but she loves chasing them anyway.

Do you think someone is in love?
